Your membership is vital to the on-going work of MAPW. We do not currently receive funding from governments or political organisations: almost all our income comes directly from members. This allows us to be politically independent, but makes your support all the more essential!

MAPW is in a unique position to offer expert and influential opinions on  peace, disarmament and human rights, through the expertise of our members in every state and territory of Australia. Your membership can help expand our influence.

Members receive our fortnightly Peace e-Script; our regular newsletter; the IPPNW Vital Signs magazine; information on a range of campaigns; and invitations to your Branch's events and activities.

Your contribution to MAPW goes a long way. You can choose an appropriate level of support each year. We offer a standard membership fee, with an economy option for part time or newly graduated and other lower salaried health and medical professionals. We have low-cost membership options for students and low income or retired members. 

For members able to support MAPW's work more fully, Silver, Gold or Platinum memberships enhance MAPW's vital work, by providing much needed campaign funds.

Membership is open to all health care professionals (including students and retired professionals). Our other supporters are eligible to apply for associate membership, at parallel rates.

You may also wish to consider making a bequest to MAPW. MAPW's bequest flyer explains how bequests can help with our work, and some options for leaving MAPW a lasting gift.
