Preamble

MAPW (Australia) recognizes that the Harold Holt Communications Facility at North West Cape plays an active role in the nuclear war-fighting strategy of the United States, while at the same time making no contribution towards arms control or disarmament.

Policy

MAPW (Australia) believes that the Australian government should terminate the lease of the Harold Holt Communications Facility at North West Cape at the earliest possible opportunity.
