Platinum Membership is $1,000 a year

For those members wishing to support MAPW's campaigns to a greater extent, the Platinum Membership is your best option.

While assisting the day to day work of MAPW, a Platinum membership contributes greatly to MAPW campaigns, advocacy with governments and publications.

For example:

• $1000 would pay the average costs of a one-day MAPW delegation, for three representatives to speak to politicians and government officials in Canberra
• $1000 would pay 80% of the printing costs for one MAPW 8-page newsletter (1000 copies)
• 4 platinum memberships would pay printing costs for a major report or publication (such as our publication "Understanding the NPTi", a 24-page booklet for members and parliamentarians)

Gold Membership is $500 a year

For those members wishing to support MAPWs campaigns to a greater extent, a Gold Membership is a great option.

While assisting the day to day work of MAPW, a Gold membership contributes greatly to MAPW campaigns, advocacy with governments and publications.

• $500 would cover the newsletter postage costs for 500 members
• $500 would pay the cost of our website and email host for one year

Silver Membership is $300 a year

For those members wishing to support MAPWs campaigns to a greater extent, a Silver Membership is an affordable option.

While assisting the day to day work of MAPW, a Silver membership contributes greatly to MAPW campaigns or publications.

For example:

• $300 would allow us to post a letter on any core issue of MAPW work to every federal politician
• $300 would allow us to print 1,000 colour posters for our members

Standard Membership is $200 a year.

Parttime or Junior Medical Officer Membership is $100 a year

Recognising the realities of a changing workplace and the limited incomes of newly graduated medical officers, we offer a special rate for parttime or JMO members.

Your membership continues to support the day-to-day running of the organisation and strengthens our voice for peace.

Retired or Low Income Membership is $25 a year

For our members who have retired from the workplace we offer a special rate of just $25 a year for membership. Your membership supports the organisation by strengthening our voice in the Australian peace movement.

Student Membership is $10 a year

By becoming a member of the Medical Association for Prevention of War you will join with a growing number of health professionals, students and supporters working to promote peaceful solutions through research, consultation, advocacy, education and partnerships.

Your student membership strengthens our voice in the work for peace and covers the costs of printing and posting our newsletter to you, three times a year. We welcome the energy and new ideas our student membership generates both here and internationally.
