Nuclear Famine: Two Billion People at Risk

In April 2012 the report Nuclear Famine: a Billion People at Risk, examined the climactic and agricultural consequences of a limited, regional nuclear war. Since then new research by Lili Xia and Alan Robock has shown that the climate change caused by such a nuclear war would result in over a billion people in the developing world facing starvation and over one billion people in China confronting severe food insecurity.
