The Asia Pacific Defence and Security Exhibition is an arms fair which provides manufacturers and arms traders with an opportunity to display their latest war fighting machinery.

The exhibition will open in Adelaide on Remembrance Day, 11 November, which marks the end of the 1914-1918 war, the "war to end all wars". It is traditionally a time when we remember those who died in past wars, rather than promoting war machinery.

Peace groups are planning a Festival of Peace and Remembrance on Sunday 9 November in Adelaide. Contact mapw [at] mapw [dot] org [dot] au to help with organisation; and watch this website for details as they become available.
