MAPW Victorian Branch hosts two guest speakers to report back from recent trips abroad.
Medical student Ashraf Tokhi will speak about a recent family visit to Kabul, Afghanistan, and the impact of conflict on every-day life. With pictures.
Dr Bill Williams will report on the scandal of Jadugoda - India's uranium mine, where workers' and villagers' health is being seriously affected by countless unsafe practices. Discussion will include a possible role for MAPW in supporting the community.
