"The Power of Peace at the Port" will mark the International Day of  Peace this year in Port Adelaide.

It will start at St Paul's Church Hall with a short peace walk around various historical sites in Port Adelaide. A "Peace Tree" will be planted.

Walkers will return to the Church Hall for refreshments and a community discussion about promoting peace, alternatives to violence, safety and well being in the community.

The discussion will be initiated by members from the Medical Association for the Prevention of War.

Refreshments and participation is free of charge.

Date and time: Sunday 21 September 2pm-5pm

Venue: Starts and ends at St Paul's Church Hall.
