Lake War Memorials Forum website: Canberra

The Lake War Memorials Forum website was launched in February 2011 to give Australians an opportunity to express their views about the proposal to build two large war memorials on the shore of Lake Burley Griffin in Canberra. This website is intended to expose this proposal to the open, democratic scrutiny that its proponents have so far evaded. Its supporters include historians, architects, and MAPW's ACT branch, which has been active in the campaign against additional war memorials for Canberra.
