MAPW hs a successful history of hosting student interns and volunteers to work on research or practical projects that assist our projects and campaigns.
Recent interns have produced many key resources on this website: including fact sheets on the arms trade, and on nuclear power and childhood leukaemia, which you can find through the resource menu.
German student Moritz Kutt, who spent several months with us in 2007-2008, built this website during that time.
Useful areas where interns could assist include website, publicity and publications work; research into issues including peace, war and nuclear weapons; preparation of fact sheets or other educational resources; and assisting in organising campaigns and events.
Volunteers can also assist in all of these areas, without necessarily doing it as part of a formal course.
Our national office is located opposite the Medical School at the University of Melbourne in Carlton, Victoria. We are also close to RMIT. Please look at our website, inform yourself about our work, and contact us at mapw [at] mapw [dot] org [dot] au if you would like to inquire about becoming an MAPW intern or volunteer.
